1 min read

Joeth James, Director of Information and Complaints at the Integrity Commission, announced that statutory declaration filings stood at 87 per cent for the 2025/2026 period.

At a press conference held by the Integrity Commission today, Ms. James noted the figure marks a marked rise from the 50 per cent level seen in 2018. She cited the improvement as evidence that public officials are submitting their statutory declarations.

Ms. James also disclosed that 150,000 statutory declarations remain in the backlog.
