JDF Air Wing King Air 350ER T-11 conducts maritime patrol from Norman Manley

The Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing operates a Beechcraft B300 King Air 350ER maritime patrol aircraft designated T-11 from Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

The aircraft entered service on November 14, 2018. It is stationed at the Caribbean Military Aviation School, known as Air Wing Manley Base, at the same Kingston airport.

Sierra Nevada Corporation fitted the King Air 350ER for surveillance work. The platform is used to help secure Jamaica’s maritime borders and to support wider national security tasks.

Its mission set covers search and rescue, maritime surveillance, border protection, customs enforcement, fisheries protection and anti-smuggling patrols in Jamaica’s territorial waters.
