
At Wednesday's Oslo Bislett Games, Jordan Scott supplied Jamaica's sole first-place result, taking the men's triple jump with a 17.66-metre effort. Jaydon Hibbert, also representing Jamaica, was fifth in that event after reaching 17.17 metres.
Rushell Clayton added a Jamaican podium result in the women's 400-metre hurdles, placing second in 53.50 seconds. Ackelia Smith came close in the women's triple jump but ended fourth with 14.50 metres.
Elsewhere for Jamaica, Danniel Thomas-Dodd was fifth in the women's shot put at 18.83 metres, and Nickisha Pryce took fifth in the women's 400 metres in 50.39 seconds.
