Kingston will host the 12th annual Caribbean Conference of Accountants, Investigators and Anti-Corruption Bodies, with the event centred on regional integrity and the fight against corruption in a changing global climate.

The conference theme is “Strengthening Regional Integrity Efforts and Anti-Corruption Mechanisms in an Evolving Global Environment.” It is expected to draw participants from across the region and beyond, including policymakers, investigators, auditors, compliance specialists and practitioners working in anti-corruption fields.

Discussions are slated to cover enforcement of anti-corruption systems, cooperation and information exchange across the region, public accountability, transparency, governance, and the detection and prevention of financial crime.

Organisers also intend to place attention on new global integrity risks and the need to make public institutions more resilient as Caribbean countries respond to shifting governance and compliance challenges.
