Fantan Mojah managers name Unstoppable Fyah and Carey James as sole authorised reps

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Managers for the late reggae singer Fantan Mojah have publicly identified who may speak for him after his death, making clear that Ray Stephens holds no mandate to represent the artiste, his relatives or his estate.

In a Saturday release issued after Fantan Mojah died, the management team stated, “Ray Stephens has had no involvement with Fantan Mojah for nearly four years and is not authorised to represent or speak on behalf of Fantan Mojah, his family or his estate on any platform.”

The same statement said that when he died, Fantan Mojah’s managers were Unstoppable Fyah and Carey James, and that the pair continue as the only authorised management voices for the artiste. Unstoppable Fyah and Carey James reportedly put out the statement for Fantan Mojah’s management and his family.

Fantan Mojah, born Owen Lennox Moncrieffe, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He earned wide respect for conscious reggae that spoke to faith, truth, resilience and upliftment among listeners in Jamaica and abroad.

As mourning continues among fans and the reggae fraternity, his family and management are asking the public and the press to treat only official channels as reliable for funeral plans and other estate-related announcements. Relatives have also asked for privacy while they grieve, and thanked supporters for prayers, solidarity and respect.
