Mount Pleasant Academy drawn against All Saints United in CFU Club Shield last 16
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Mount Pleasant Academy have been paired with All Saints United of Antigua and Barbuda for their opening assignment in the Caribbean Football Union Club Shield Round of 16.
The fixture is scheduled for either July 25 or 26, following the official draw held on Friday. Mount Pleasant, who placed third in the Jamaica Premier League, were among eight clubs advanced directly to the last 16.
The CFU Club Shield will be staged in Trinidad and Tobago from July 23 to August 2. A total of 22 teams will contest the straight knockout tournament, with the two finalists earning places in the Concacaf Champions Cup, where Mt Pleasant FA are listed as the current holders.
Opening-round matches are down for July 23 and 24, and the winners will move on to the Round of 16 on July 25 and 26. The quarter-finals are scheduled for July 28, the semi-finals for July 31, and the final for August 2.
