Jamaican Producer Mxssivh Hits 100 Million Streams With Drake Collaboration
“Ran To Atlanta,” a Drake recording featuring Future and Molly Santana, has registered more than 100 million plays on Spotify. It is now the sixth song from Drake’s Iceman album to cross that streaming threshold.
Jamaican producer Justin “Mxssivh” Junagada produced the recording, which previously rose to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The performance represents one of the most significant accomplishments of his emerging career.
The song remains on the Billboard chart after seven weeks. It moved from No. 39 last week to No. 38, gaining one position in the latest ranking.
“Still in awe that this whole placement happened… forever grateful for this achievement, and this is just the start. God is the greatest!” Mxssivh shared.
Mxssivh contributed production to two recordings issued as part of Drake’s unexpected triple-album release. His other credit is “New Bestie” from Maid Of Honour, on which Drake acknowledges Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel.
The two production placements further demonstrate Mxssivh’s expanding presence on a major hip-hop project.
