2 min readKingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica, July 3, 2026 — PBS Group Limited said it has entered into a 10-year strategic agreement, valued in the eight-figure US dollar range, with a leading international bank to upgrade and reinforce the institution's data, analytics and resilience infrastructure across Central America.

The company said the arrangement received formal approval from the bank's Board of Directors and establishes PBS as a long-term strategic partner charged with supporting the transformation and ongoing operation of key enterprise platforms. PBS added that the work will be carried out in multiple phases and includes a long-term managed services structure, which strengthens its recurring revenue base.

Under the initiative, PBS is to roll out a next-generation data architecture using Oracle Exadata, Oracle Database 26AI, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and Zero Data-Loss Disaster Recovery, together with capabilities supported by data integration architecture. The programme will also cover the bank's Analytics Unit through the modernization of its enterprise Data Warehouse environment and its integration capabilities.

PBS said artificial intelligence technologies are to be built into selected operational processes to lift efficiency, improve risk management and help deliver faster data-driven decision-making. The company's Advanced Services Division will oversee the project.

"This agreement highlights our consulting role in delivering the highly resilient, data-centric, and intelligence-driven platforms that modern financial institutions require," said Pedro M. Paris, Group CEO of PBS Group Limited. “From an investor perspective, it also validates our strategy of building long-term relationships around mission-critical environments that combine high-value engineering capabilities with managed services.”

PBS describes itself as a technology, services and solutions provider with operations across Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America. The company is listed on the Jamaica and Barbados stock exchanges.
