Pryme Tyme Launches God and Pryme EP Blending Faith With Dancehall

2 min read

Dancehall artiste Pryme Tyme is gaining ground in the industry through a run of recent singles that paved the way for his debut extended play, God and Pryme. The title riffs on the well-known expression “God and Time,” and the project examines his spiritual journey while giving audiences material that is both thoughtful and engaging.

“The title speaks for itself. Everything you hear on this project is a reflection of faith, growth, determination, and purpose. It’s simply God and Pryme,” he said.

The EP dropped on June 26 under 1Link Family Production and includes tracks such as Oh why, Resilient, and Fly Away. On each song, Pryme Tyme delivers sharp writing aimed at drawing in listeners from different backgrounds.

“The release of this EP marks an important milestone in my career because it’s my first compiled body of work and it represents my determination to be great through the sharing of my talent. Launching this EP is an important step toward reaching the full potential I know I am capable of. I am truly grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and helped make this project possible,” said Pryme Tyme.

“For this EP, I incorporated elements from other musical styles but ensured to maintain the key elements of dancehall in an effort to appeal to broader demographics while still connecting with my core audience.”

Pryme Tyme said he expects the project to perform well not only for him but also for his fans and everyone who played a part in bringing it together.

“The songs on this EP were carefully chosen because they touch on real-life experiences and perspectives that I believe are not discussed nearly enough. Each track tells a story and reflects different aspects of life that deserve more attention and understanding,” he said.
