Rohan Maxwell ordered to pay $14,000 after Norman Manley Airport offences

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Rohan Maxwell must pay $14,000 after he pleaded guilty to unlawful parking, using indecent language and disorderly behaviour at Norman Manley International Airport.

The offences arose from an incident at the airport on March 22, 2026. Maxwell faced the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday, where Judge Peter Wilson said his behaviour at the facility was unacceptable.

Maxwell broke in during the hearing to say he wanted to enter guilty pleas. The judge cautioned him against any repeat of the misconduct and suggested that, going forward, he leave his vehicle at a greater distance and only move in to collect a passenger once that person has arrived.

The court imposed $10,000 or three days in prison for unlawful parking, $2,000 or three days for indecent language, and $2,000 or three days for disorderly conduct.
