Stacious Calls for Compassionate Patient Care at Jamaican Hospitals

Dancehall and reggae performer Stacious has urged Jamaican healthcare workers to approach patients with more compassion, saying empathy should be central to their work.

The "Come Into My Room" singer made the appeal in an Instagram video after a recent visit to Kingston Public Hospital.

Her comments follow a similar message from Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton, who said good healthcare involves both medical treatment and the way patients are supported while facing difficult circumstances.
