Tourism Minister off the island attending Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2026

Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett has departed the island yesterday to participate in the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2026 trade show in Antigua and Barbuda from May 12–15.

Considered the region’s premier tourism business event, the trade show will bring together regional leaders, tourism stakeholders, airline executives, hoteliers and travel advisors to strengthen collaboration, connectivity and resilience across the regional tourism sector.

Minister Bartlett is also expected to advance discussions surrounding multi-destination tourism, regional integration and crisis preparedness ahead of the upcoming hurricane season.

Following the trade show, the Minister will travel to the Turks and Caicos Islands to attend Sandals Resorts International’s grand celebration of the new Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos.
