Vybz Kartel lands another major international collaboration
Dancehall phenom Vybz Kartel is lining up another major international collaboration, this time featuring on Chris Brown’s upcoming studio album Brown, set for release on May 8, on the track “Fuck N Party.”
The R&B superstar has just announced his 12th studio album, revealing a massive 27-track project. The two-time Grammy winner unveiled a Thriller-inspired cover, sparking buzz among fans about the album’s creative direction and star-studded lineup.
Drawing inspiration from timeless R&B greats such as Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Pendergrass, the album leans into a classic, theatrical aesthetic.
The trailer reveal played out like a movie-style cast announcement, with a stage-inspired presentation highlighting featured collaborators in dramatic fashion, including Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, Fridayy, and Sexyy Red among those featured on the project.
Kartel’s appearance on “Fuck N Party” adds his signature dancehall energy, following recent international collabs including a feature on JACKBOYS 2 by American rapper Travis Scott on the track “PBT” alongside Afropop star Tyla. There are also ongoing rumours of a potential appearance on Drake’s upcoming project Iceman.
The album follows Brown’s 2023 chart-topping release 11:11, which won Best R&B Album at the 67th Grammy Awards in 2025.
