Firefighters were reportedly alerted about 4:15 a.m. that flames had broken out at Newsman Fry Chicken Restaurant and the No Traction Chill Spot bar. Crews put out the fire shortly after 6 a.m.
Adeka Miller, owner of Newsman Fry Chicken, estimated his loss at $10 million. He said the restaurant had been operating for only one month, and that he and his four workers are uncertain about what comes next.
