Caribbean Airlines jet taxis in at Norman Manley International Airport
A Caribbean Airlines aircraft has been recorded arriving and taxiing at Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston, Jamaica.
Airport audio captured with the footage includes a gate announcement for American Airlines Flight 1400 to Miami at Gate 8. Travellers with assisted car seats were asked to remain available for further direction as agents prepared to check bags, with staff indicating they were looking to process about 25 pieces of luggage.
Passengers were invited to come forward to check bags. Those with onward connections were told to retrieve checked items before proceeding to further queries. Travellers were also reminded to take out passports, other travel documents, and any medication they would need for the journey before handing over luggage.
The announcement noted that overhead bin space was limited and that bag check ahead of boarding was available at no charge.
