Caribbean Airlines delayed boarding for a Trinidad-bound flight at Norman Manley International Airport on May 29, 2026, after the inbound aircraft from Nassau, Bahamas, arrived late.

Airport announcements told passengers the hold-up affected flight BW 405 with service toward Port of Spain, Trinidad. Staff said the inbound aircraft on that service from Nassau had not arrived on time, which pushed back boarding for the outbound journey.

A further update said the aircraft was being cleaned and prepared for the Trinidad service and that boarding would start once that work was finished. Caribbean Airlines apologised for the inconvenience and thanked travellers for their patience.

Passengers were told another update would follow within 15 minutes.
