DJ Rendetta Builds Name In Jamaica Entertainment And Stunt Biking

Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica — DJ Rendetta, the stage name used by Lorenzo Whorms, is developing a place for himself in Jamaica’s entertainment space by combining stunt biking, live hosting and strong command of audiences.

His profile has been growing through motorcycle tricks and high-energy appearances at events, making him an increasingly recognisable personality on the local bike show and party scene.

Rendetta said the name dates back to 2015 and came from a play on the vendetta mask, shifting from Vendetta to Rendetta. Although some people identify him mainly as a DJ, he says his work stretches beyond that label.

As both an events host and stunt biker, he operates in settings built around excitement, noise and crowd participation. He said his entry into stunt riding was influenced by bikers from his community, while his hosting skills grew out of time spent around bike shows and parties with friends. He also said the energy he brings is different.

Across the years, Rendetta has been booked for several bike shows and entertainment events in Jamaica. Among them are Rush In The West, Bikers Paradise, Safe First, and Antshead Birthday Bike & Car Show. Those appearances have helped him strengthen his standing in the culture.

Stunt biking carries clear risks, but Rendetta said he has not suffered any major injury. He credited mental focus and physical preparation for helping him manage the dangers that come with the activity.

Online platforms have also helped him reach more supporters, both in Jamaica and overseas. Speaking about that following, Rendetta said his fans love him.

He is now looking toward bigger stages and said he is working to host larger events. Rendetta’s long-term aim is to be remembered as the best events host in the world.

With his mix of confidence, showmanship and motorcycle skill, DJ Rendetta is continuing to push his presence in Jamaica’s entertainment scene while building on the momentum around his name.
