Monolith Financial Services, a fully owned arm of MFS Capital Partners, has secured a cambio licence from the Bank of Jamaica.
With that approval, the company is now authorised to run cambio services from its office at Willie’s Plaza, 176 Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11. Monolith said it expects to start foreign exchange trading at its Three Miles location on or before August 1, 2026.
The company described the licence as a key step in widening its financial services portfolio. It said the move should make foreign exchange access easier for customers in the Three Miles community and nearby areas, where the new branch is based.
Monolith added that the development supports its broader goals to expand offerings, improve customer convenience and open up more avenues for sustainable growth. It also said it will continue to update the market on material developments in line with its ongoing disclosure obligations.
