Ten Hurt In Separate St Mary Road Crashes

Ten people are receiving medical care after two road crashes were reported in St Mary on Friday.
The earlier collision took place about noon on the Rio Nuevo main road, close to the Rubio gas station. Police say a car and a truck were involved. A woman and two children were hurt and taken quickly to hospital for treatment.
Later, about 8pm in Annotto Bay, a vehicle coming from Dover reportedly went out of control near Marking Stone beach and slammed into an empty shop. Seven people, among them the driver and students, were injured and transported to hospital.
The St Mary police are carrying out investigations into both crashes.
